Nagpur, June 7 -- Internationally acclaimed chef Vishnu Manohar on Sunday created a new world record by preparing 3,000 kg of Nagpur's iconic 'Tarri Poha' on the occasion of World Poha Day, with the aim of giving global recognition to the city's popular culinary specialty.

The feat was recognised by the World Records Book of India, officials said.

The certificate was handed over by World Record Coordinator Renu Jamdar, while Founder and Chief Editor Sushma Narvekar extended greetings for the initiative.

The event, organised at Vishnuji Ki Rasoi in Bajaj Nagar, witnessed an enthusiastic response from citizens as the large-scale preparation began in the early hours of the day.
