Patna, Nov. 6 -- A voter turnout of 27.65 percent was recorded across Bihar till 11 am today as polling for the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections is underway amid tight security arrangements in 121 constituencies, according to data released by the Election Commission of India.

The highest voter turnout of 30.37 percent was registered in Begusarai, while Shekhpura district recorded the lowest turnout at 26.04 percent, according to the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO).
