Jaunpur, Feb. 22 -- A 26-year-old man was stabbed to death in Jamunipur village under Barsathi police station limits in Jaunpur district of Uttar Pradesh on Sunday, sending shockwaves across the area.
According to official sources, the deceased has been identified as Shubham Shukla (26), son of Rajesh Kumar Shukla, a resident of Jamunipur village. On Sunday, he was reportedly present near a primary school close to his house, where some children were playing.
About an hour later, a few children informed his family that Shukla was lying in a severely injured condition near a pond in the village. Family members rushed to the spot and found him lying in a pool of blood. One knife was lodged in his chest, while another was found near his navel...
