New Delhi, June 14 -- A 26-year-old man sustained multiple stab injuries after being allegedly attacked by unidentified persons in East Delhi's Shakarpur area during the early hours of Sunday.

Police have launched an investigation to identify the assailants and ascertain the motive behind the attack.

According to police, a PCR call was received at around 1:45 am.

The victim, identified as Mohit Tiwari, a resident of Ganesh Nagar Complex in Pandav Nagar, was found lying in a pool of blood near the Mother Dairy Flyover close to the Laxmi Nagar Metro red light.
