Tumkur(Karnataka), April 23 -- India's rising track and field stars will be seen in action during three-day 24th National Junior (U20) Athletics Federation Competition starting Friday at Tumkur's Mahatma Gandhi Stadium in Karnataka.
Exciting duel is expected from day-one of the junior competition as it will also act as a qualifying event for next month's Asian U20 Athletics Championships to be held in Hong Kong.
The AFI (Athletics Federation of India) has already announced the qualification standards for the Asian U20 meet and three-day age group competition in Karnataka will see several promising junior athletes achieving their goal of wearing the Indian jersey.
