Amravati, Apr 20 ( UNI) In a shocking incident, a 22-year-old man been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a 56-year-old woman in Amravati district.The accused, identified as Amed Khan Yusuf Khan, was taken into custody by police within just 12 hours of the crime.According to police, the victim was on her way to Paratwada for medical treatment when the accused offered her a lift in his two-wheeler, claiming he would drop her at the hospital. However, he allegedly took her to a secluded spot under a bridge and assaulted her.Displaying courage, the victim later approached Shirsagaon Kasba Police Station and lodged a complaint.
