Kochi, May 20 -- In a major boost for expatriates celebrating the mango season in the Gulf, Lulu Group has begun special chartered cargo flight operations from Kochi to transport more than 200 tonnes of mangoes to GCC countries ahead of the Lulu Mango Fest starting on May 21 across Lulu stores in the region.
The mango shipments are being carried on National Air Cargo aircraft operating special services from Kochi. A cargo flight carrying around 100 tonnes of mangoes departed recently, while another 100 tonnes will be transported on May 20 through additional cargo operations to Gulf destinations.
