Thiruvananthapuram, Feb. 2 -- Emirates, the world's largest international airline, marked 20 years of operations connecting Thiruvananthapuram with the world, having carried over 4.6 million passengers on more than 19,000 flights between the Kerala capital and Dubai since services began in February 2006.

The airline has also uplifted over 34,000 tonnes of cargo from the city since 2019, significantly supporting Kerala's trade and export sector.
