Dimapur, May 19 -- Kohima police recovered two stolen motorcycles and apprehended two minor suspects involved in the crimes.
Kohima police PRO, said in a release on Tuesday that the arrests were made during the investigation of South PS case No. 0025/2026, registered under Section 305(b) BNS 2023.
Based on a complaint registered on May 8 regarding the theft of a motorbike from Midland Colony, Kohima, the police were able to identify and apprehend both suspects, who are juveniles.
The motorbike stolen from Midland Colony was also traced and recovered.
The second motorbike that had been reported stolen under the jurisdiction of North PS in Kohima was also recovered later. Both the recovered vehicles have been handed over to the owners.
