Budaun, Oct. 29 -- : A roadways bus traveling from Agra to Haldwani collided with a stationary truck near Alipur Madhaiya Tiraha on the Bareilly-Mathura Highway, killing two people, including an ITBP jawan, and injuring nine others, police reported on Wednesday.
The accident occurred around 12:30 am. The bus, operated by the Agra Foundry Nagar Depot, crashed into the parked truck while en route to Haldwani.
The deceased were identified as Hakim Singh (56) of Saiya Pura Maharaj, Agra, and Dharmendra (40), an ITBP jawan from Godhna, Ghiraur in Mainpuri district. Both were declared dead on arrival at Ujhani Community Health Center.
