Chennai, March 17 -- Th 2-day National Literary festival, 'Sahitya SRM Lit Fest 3.0 - Sahitya 2026,', began at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) campus here on Tuesday.
It brought together writers, scholars, artists, and students for meaningful conversations on literature, culture and society.
The festival is centered on the theme "Language, Culture, and the Idea of India: Literature as Public Conscience in the Journey towards Viksit Bharat."Conceived as an interdisciplinary cultural and intellectual platform, the event seeks to explore how literature shapes collective thought, cultural identity, and public discourse in contemporary India, according to a press release.
