Parwinder SandhuNew Delhi, May 4 -- Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan on Monday said the creation of integrated theatre commands is now an "irreversible" reform process for India's armed forces, asserting that the military must adapt faster to evolving threats by deepening jointness, integration and digitisation across the Army, Navy and Air Force.

Delivering an address at the Maj Gen Samir Sinha Memorial Lecture at United Service Institution (USI), on the theme 'Jointness and Threaterisation: Key Challenges and Progress Made', General Chauhan said the establishment of integrated theatre commands was a key mandate entrusted to him as CDS and Secretary, Department of Military Affairs.
