Mumbai , Aug. 11 -- Three persons were arrested and the search is on for another absconding three on the charge of gang-raping a 19-year-old woman in Talasari tehsil of neghbouring Palghar district, officials said here on Tuesday.
According to Talasari Police, the incident took place on the night of August 9 when the victim who had gone to Umargam in Gujarat with a male friend, was returning in motorcycle.
When the vehicle skidded in the Aamgaon area, the three men on another motorcycle allegedly threatened the friend and forced him to leave. They then called three more accomplices.
