Agartala, Jan. 12 -- A bus accident occurred early this morning in the Kamalpur area of Tripura's Dhalai District, resulting in injuries to 18 passengers. The bus was traveling from Agartala to Kailashahar in Unakoti District when it reportedly lost control while navigating a sharp turn and plunged into a deep gorge.

Passengers reported that the journey began at Radhanagar Bus Stand in Agartala. After the initial bus broke down near Khowai, they transferred to another vehicle, which was allegedly speeding at the time of the accident.

Approximately 32 to 35 passengers were aboard. Emergency response teams, including the Fire and Emergency Services along with local officials, quickly arrived at the scene to assist the victims. The injured p...
