New Delhi, Aug. 4 -- Seventeen people were injured after an Air India flight from Phuket to New Delhi experienced a "sudden loss of altitude during cruise" on Tuesday, the airline said.
Flight AI2379, operated by an Airbus A320neo, was carrying 137 passengers and eight crew members when the incident occurred. The aircraft later continued its journey and landed safely at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport at 11:07 am IST.
"After the momentary event, the aircraft continued normally and landed safely in Delhi at 11:07 hrs IST," Air India said in a statement.
