Mumbai, Sept. 5 -- As many as 168 Govindas were injured while participating in Dahi Handi festivities and forming towering human pyramids across Mumbai Saturday, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said.

According to consolidated information received from government and civic hospitals, 29 of the injured were admitted for treatment, 81 were undergoing medical care, while 58 were discharged after treatment.

Central Mumbai hospitals accounted for the highest number of cases, reporting 106 injuries, including 18 admissions, 52 persons under treatment and 36 discharged.
