New Delhi, Aug. 29 -- The Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) of Delhi Police's Outer North district has traced and safely rescued a 15-year-old boy who has been reported missing, police said on Saturday.

The boy was located on Friday during a special operation carried out by the AHTU following sustained efforts and meticulous follow-up, according to the police.

A case in connection with the missing teenager was registered as FIR No. 565/26 under Section 137(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at Narela Police Station.

The operation was conducted by a team comprising Head Constables Rakesh Kant, Sandeep and Nitesh of the AHTU, Outer North district.
