Mumbai, Sept. 7 -- Maharashtra's political circles are once again abuzz with speculation of a possible defection from the Shiv Sena (UBT) camp, with Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) MLA Murji Patel claiming that 14 legislators are in touch with Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
Speaking at a public event, Patel alleged that the legislators are waiting for a green signal from the party leadership to join the Shinde-led faction. He described the prospective defections as "Operation Tiger-4", suggesting that municipal corporators and grassroots workers could also follow.
