Hyderabad, Jan. 9 -- Customs officials at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on Friday seized 14 kg of hydroponic ganja, valued at Rs 14 crore, from two passengers arriving from Qatar.

According to official sources, the contraband was detected during checks of passengers who landed at Shamshabad on a Qatar Airways flight. The two accused were taken into custody immediately after the seizure.

Customs officials have initiated an investigation to trace the source of the narcotics and possible links to an international drug trafficking network, sources added.
