Hyderabad, April 3 -- The two-day 13th Asian Textile Conference 2026 (ATEXCON 2026) commenced at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) on Friday, bringing together global industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders.

In his keynote address, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said Telangana is poised to emerge as a major textile hub of South Asia, with a strong focus on building a comprehensive and globally competitive textile ecosystem. He highlighted the state's rich textile heritage, robust cotton production, and initiatives such as the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park in Warangal.
