Shimla, July 24 -- At least 13 people were killed snd two injured after a passenger vehicle was crushed by massive boulders triggered by a landslide near Kadu Nallah on the Sansari-Killar-Tandi road in Himachal Pradesh's Lahaul-Spiti district on Friday.

According to official sources the ill-fated vehicle was travelling from Kullu to Pangi when a portion of the hillside collapsed, sending huge boulders crashing onto the vehicle and burying it under debris.

Among those killed was a six-month old infant.

The impact was so severe that 13 of the 15 occupants were killed, with only two surviving the crash.
