Firozabad, March 18 -- A tragic accident occurred on Tuesday evening in the Shikohabad area of Firozabad district, where a 12-year-old boy lost his life after being electrocuted due to a hanging high-tension power line.
Another youth, aged around 20, sustained severe burn injuries and is currently undergoing treatment, officials said on Wednesday.
The incident took place on the Mustafabad road near Shobhanpur Nagla Jheel village.
According to reports, a potato-laden container truck was parked under a high-tension electricity line. Due to sagging wires, the live line came into contact with the container, causing it to become electrically charged.
