Chennai, Aug. 6 -- Tamil Nadu Agriculture Minister R.Vinoth on Thursday said 12 districts in the State would be severely impacted by Super El Nino phenomenon, especially during the ongoing Kuruvai crop cultivation season in delta districts, and that contingency plans for these districts have been put in place to tackle it.
Presenting the TVK government's maiden Agriculture budget in the State Assembly, he said while it is the sky that blesses the farmers, at times, it is that very same sky that brings them adversity.
