Bhubaneswar, July 7 -- In a major drug bust, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI), in coordination with Customs officials, seized 11 kg of suspected marijuana worth over Rs 5 crore from two passengers at the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) here on Tuesday.

The contraband was recovered from the baggage of the passengers, who had arrived on a flight routed through Bangkok. Officials said the narcotic substance had been concealed in a compressed form inside their luggage in a bid to evade detection.
