Agartala, Sept. 22 -- Agartala Government Medical College (AGMC) has secured authorisation to expand its MBBS enrolment capacity from 150 to 250 seats commencing in this academic year, indicating a significant advancement for medical education in Tripura.
The incorporation of 100 additional seats is anticipated to create expanded pathways for prospective medical students and substantially enhance the state's medical education infrastructure.
Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha said this initiative, noting that the expansion would furnish enhanced opportunities for young people to pursue medical studies and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of Tripura's healthcare delivery system.
