Chennai, June 14 -- In a special two-week long drive focussing on history sheeters and anti-social elements to maintain law and order and bring down the crime graph, the Tamil Nadu have arrested 1,328 offenders and remanded them to judicial custody.
Police sources said as a pro-active and preventive policing, intensive enforcement drives were carried out across the State as per the instructions of Director General of Police/Head of Police Force Mahesh Kumar against History Sheet (HS) rowdies, NonHistory Sheet (Non-HS) Offenders, Bad Characters (BCs), Narcotics Offenders and absconding accused involved in various criminal activities.
