Mumbai, Nov. 2 -- Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray has taken a sharp dig at the ruling establishment via a social media post framed as a review of the newly released Marathi film Punha Shivajiraje Bhosale.
Following his participation in the recent "Truth March" alongside Uddhav Thackeray, Raj has now turned to cinema to convey his political message to his opponents.
In his post, Thackeray shared that he watched the film, directed by friend Mahesh Manjrekar, whom he referred to as a "close friend". He noted that while the term "contemporary cinema" is widely used, few films truly reflect it. He urged people who have the intention of understanding prevailing societal realities to watch the movie.
