Lucknow, May 21 -- As part of its expanding 'Visit My State' campaign and wider cultural tourism push, Uttar Pradesh Tourism is now encouraging citizens, families, trusts, educational institutions, and private organisations to establish 'Public Museums' for visitors and tourists under the state's tourism framework.
The initiative is aimed at encouraging privately developed museums that remain open for tourists and public visitors, where families, trusts, collectors, institutions, and cultural organisations can showcase collections linked to history, culture, spirituality, literature, folk traditions, freedom movement legacies, and regional heritage.
