Muzaffarpur, June 2 -- Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary Tuesday announced that the state government will develop a new satellite township named 'Tirhut' over 22,000 acres of land, describing it as a major step toward planned urbanization and regional development in north Bihar.
The Chief Minister made the announcement while addressing a Sahyog Camp at Gosainpur in Motipur block of Muzaffarpur district. During the event, he remotely inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 109 development projects worth Rs 288.16 crore and distributed benefits under various welfare schemes to beneficiaries.
