Los Angeles, June 28 -- "La La Land" actress Emma Stone and American actor Chris Pine starrer rom-com "The Catch" now casts Tim Robbins and Sissy Spacek in supporting roles, which is slated for release on May 21, 2027.
The project will be directed by Dave McCary, who reunites with Stone following their previous collaborations.
Plot details remain unknown, other than it being described as a two-hander rom-com. Patrick Kang and Michael Levin penned the spec script with the most recent draft by Jen Statsky (Hacks) and Travis Helwig. Stone had been weighing several options for the fall, but after a recent draft came in on "The Catch", she turned her attention to the project.
