Mumbai, Oct. 1 -- "The Alliance" is returning for a second season, with the reality series scheduled to premiere on Prime Video on January 14, 2027.
Based on the Dutch reality format, 'Alliance' is created by John de Mol and produced by Banijay Asia. The first season of the show saw 16 celebrity 'Alliances' placed in a mysterious HQ, where they had to navigate alliances, strategies and changing equations, along with physical and mental challenges. Kunal Khemu hosted season 1.
Nikhil Madhok, Director and Head of Originals, Prime Video India, said that the response to the first season proved that Indian audiences love reality entertainment based on strategy and mind games.
