New Delhi, April 18 -- All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, hosted a walkathon on Saturday to raise awareness about Parkinson's Disease, a progressive neurodegenerative movement disorder that is rising rapidly in India, with a 21.7 per cent surge in cases in the last two decades.

"Parkinson's is manageable" was the message passed on to the individuals who participated in the awareness walk organised by doctors from the hospital's Neurology department.
