Mumbai, Sept. 2 -- Social activist Anjali Damania has raised serious concerns over the deletion of more than two crore names from Maharashtra's electoral rolls, alleging that nearly 21 per cent of voters have been removed from the lists.
In a strongly worded statement, Damania questioned how the names of such a large number of voters could disappear from the electoral rolls. She described it as a serious threat to democracy rather than merely an administrative error.
