Itanagar, July 4 -- As part of the ongoing anti-drug initiative Operation Dawn 2.0, the East Siang Police apprehended a habitual drug peddler and seized 2.46 grams of suspected heroin, along with Rs 3,000 in cash and a smartphone.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Pankaj Lamba said that acting on credible intelligence inputs, the Anti-Drug Squad (ADS) of East Siang Police conducted a successful operation leading to the arrest of Obang Modi (60), a resident of the GTC area in Pasighat.
