Chandigarh, April 23 -- The 'Nirogi Haryana' initiative, a flagship preventive healthcare programme of the Haryana government, has achieved a significant milestone by completing health screenings for over one crore citizens.
According to official data, the state has conducted more than 5.86 crore free laboratory tests, marking a decisive step toward the early detection of diseases and improved access to medical services. The progress of this comprehensive health drive was reviewed during a high-level meeting chaired by Dr Sumita Misra, Additional Chief Secretary of the Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education and Research Department.
