Nagpur, Oct. 8 -- Priyanshu Kshatriya alias Babu Chhatri, who had acted in the Amitabh Bachchan-starrer film Jhund, was brutally stabbed to death by his associate in Nagpur, police said today.
According to police, the accused, identified as Dhruv Lalbahadur Sahu, was arrested within hours of the crime by Jaripatka police.
Preliminary investigation revealed that Priyanshu, a resident of Mekosabag and Dhruv, from Nara, had gone to an under-construction house in Om Sai Nagari-2 late last night, where they reportedly consumed alcohol and ganja.
An argument broke out between the two, during which Dhruv allegedly snatched a knife from Priyanshu and stabbed him multiple times, resulting in his death on the spot.
