New Delhi, Sept. 15 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday hailed the Bharatiya Janata Party's "resounding victory" in Rajasthan's municipal elections, saying the mandate was a clear indication of the people's faith in the BJP's "double-engine government" and its agenda of good governance and development.
Thanking the people of Rajasthan for the electoral verdict, Modi said the result demonstrated that truth had prevailed over what he described as an "echo of lies".
"Yeh jhooth ki goonj ke saamne satya ki vijay ka pramaan hai" (proof of the victory of truth over the echo of lies), Modi said in a post on social media.
