Srinagar, Aug. 15 -- Leader of Opposition (LoP) and senior BJP leader Sunil Sharma on Saturday criticized Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for reiterating the demand for the restoration of statehood and constitutional guarantees to Jammu and Kashmir during his Independence Day.
While Sharma termed the remarks "irresponsible" and "unfortunate," National Conference chief spokesperson and MLA Tanvir Sadiq defended the Chief Minister, arguing that the demand for the restoration of rights and statehood was constitutional.
