Prayagrah, Jan. 20 -- The dispute between the Magh Mela authorities and Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati refused to die as on Tuesday as the Prayagraj Mela Authority has issued a notice to the Shankaracharya, citing the Supreme Court, and demanding a response within 24 hours.
Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati has also responded to the Mela administration's refusal to recognise him as the Shankaracharya of Jyotish Peeth. He clearly stated that a Shankaracharya is someone who is recognised by the Shankaracharyas of the other three peeths (monastic centres).
