Srinagar, July 27 -- Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday took a sharp dig at Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma over his repeated remarks on the restoration of statehood, saying the BJP leader would have no role in the decision and would learn about it only after it is announced.

Responding to a question on BJP leaders' statements that there would be neither restoration of statehood nor Article 370, Omar said he did not have the time to respond to every statement made by the LoP.

"He gives statements ten times a day. I don't have so much time to answer every statement," the Chief Minister told reporters in Bijbehara Anatnag on the side-lines of a function.
