New Delhi, Sept. 25 -- Congress general secretary K C Venugopal on Friday intensified the party's campaign against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, declaring that "Gyanesh will go" and warning that the nationwide protests demanding his removal were only the beginning of a larger mobilisation over the functioning of the Election Commission.
"Gyanesh will go, it's a matter of time. And then Congress will make it happen," Venugopal said in a post on X as Congress leaders and workers staged demonstrations in several parts of the country demanding Kumar's removal.
