Mumbai, July 30 -- Maharashtra BJP chief spokesperson Navnath Ban on Thursday launched an attack on Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut, accusing him of targeting union Home Minister Amit Shah while ignoring what he described as the deteriorating condition of his own party.
Addressing a press conference at the BJP's state headquarters, Ban alleged that Raut was unable to prevent defections from his party and therefore had no moral authority to criticise Shah.
Referring to the BJP-led Centre's "Operation Sindoor," Ban claimed the operation had delivered a strong response to Pakistan and said Raut's criticism of it stemmed from discomfort over the government's actions.
