New Delhi, Feb. 10 -- Their journeys are different, but the impact they have had on Indian sport is equally defining. Anju Bobby George and Deepa Malik are among the voices shaping the narrative of Indian women's sport today- one built on access, belief and inclusion. For Anju Bobby George, the path began in a small town in Kerala, at a time when sport was rarely encouraged for girls. She went on to create history as India's first medallist at a World Athletics Championship, overcoming injury and resistance along the way. Now working closely with young athletes, she continues to stress the importance of visibility and recognition.
