New Delhi, Aug. 22 -- Brushing aside the criticism and "outside noise" surrounding his tenure as India head coach, former India opener Gautam Gambhir today said his focus remains solely on winning trophies for the country.
Gambhir has endured a difficult run since taking charge, with India losing home Test series against New Zealand and South Africa and suffering a heavy defeat in Australia. Their 2-2 series draw in England remains the only major positive in an otherwise challenging period.
Asked about the criticism coming his way, Gambhir was characteristically direct.
