Thiruvananthapuram, Oct. 5 -- 'Brand Wayanad', a major tourism initiative under the Kerala Government's 100-Day Action Programme to showcase Wayanad as a diverse and sustainable global tourism destination, will be formally launched at Vythiri Village Resort on October 6.
The initiative seeks to give a distinctive global identity to Wayanad and promote its tourism potential in domestic and international markets, while supporting the district's economic recovery and livelihood security in the aftermath of natural disasters.
Tourism Minister P. C. Vishnunadh will unveil the project at a function to be presided over by Agriculture Minister T. Siddique.
