Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 25 -- Kerala Tourism Minister P C Vishnunadh on Tuesday unveiled an innovative experiential tourism initiative, 'Be a Malayali for a Day,' aimed at offering visitors an immersive experience of the State's culture and traditions rather than merely showcasing its scenic beauty.
In an Onam message on the eve of Thiruvonam, the Minister said the initiative marked a shift from the conventional approach of 'Come to see Kerala' to 'Come to experience Kerala', encouraging tourists to interact with local communities and actively participate in their everyday cultural practices.
