Lucknow, May 18 -- Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party (SP) National President Akhilesh Yadav Monday, launched a scathing attack on the BJP government over alleged illegal mining in Banda.
In an emotional appeal to the "people of Banda," Akhilesh Yadav, through a post on his social media, claimed that Banda is being destroyed through ruthless mining.
Akhilesh Yadav alleged that due to the mining being carried out by today's ''money-hungry BJP government and its greedy contractors, Banda is being wiped out''. This "natural oppression" has severely affected the local production cycle.
