New Delhi, Feb. 17 -- Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy on Monday asserted that naval modernisation must be "sustained, indigenous and visionary", stressing that technology will define the character of future warfare even as human courage remains paramount.

Murthy was giving the keynote address at Vice Admiral KK Nayyar Memorial Lecture-2026, organised by the National Maritime Foundation, at Manekshaw Center in the national capital.

Murthy echoed Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi's emphasis on technological advancement, noting that the Navy Chief had rightly observed that "technology is our greatest future."
