Lucknow, March 21 -- As part of the ongoing development of fast, modern and pollution-free transport services Uttar Pradesh, Agra Metro is progressing rapidly.

In this direction, the remaining stretch of Corridor-1, from Sikandra to Taj East Gate, is now in the final stage of construction and is expected to be completed by June 2026.

Similarly, the construction of Corridor-2, from Agra Cantt to Kalindi Vihar, is also moving swiftly and is targeted for completion by June 2027.

Once completed, both corridors will provide smooth and fast transportation to residents of Agra as well as domestic and international tourists, helping reduce traffic congestion and pollution while boosting tourism in the city.
