New Delhi, Aug. 8 -- BJP MP Raghav Chadha's meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday, which he described as "a morning I will cherish", has triggered a massive political buzz ahead of the Assembly elections in Punjab.
Coming a day after Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) chief Sukhbir Singh Badal met the Prime Minister, there is now speculation about a larger role in Punjab for Chadha, who quit the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and joined the BJP along with six other Rajya Sabha MPs earlier this year.
Chadha did not disclose what was discussed during the meeting, though sources said the prevailing situation in Punjab was among the issues discussed.
